There is no limit on the number of Zigbee gateways that you can add.
Why can't I connect a device to a gateway?
Dear user, we are sorry for your inconvenience. Please make sure that you have reset the sub-device to the status of the network configuration. The wireless signal strength may be weak. Ensure that there are no metal walls or high-power electric appliances between the gateway and the device. We recommend that the distance between the gateway and the device be less than 5 m when there are no walls between them.
Can I connect a smart door lock to a gateway?
Dear user, we are sorry for your inconvenience. Yes. After connecting a smart door lock to a gateway or a device with gateway functionality, you can associate the smart door lock with other devices, remotely view unlocking records, and receive alarms for lock picking attempts or low battery level.
How do I configure scene automation for a Zigbee smart door lock?
Dear user, we are sorry for your inconvenience. If you do so: In the app, choose Smart—Automation. Tap the plus sign (+) in the upper right corner. In the Set, a conditioning step, tap when the device status changes, and then select a lock. On the Select Function page, set fingerprint unlocking, common password unlocking, or temporary password unlocking as a trigger condition. For example, if you set ''Fingerprint unlocking = 3'', door unlocking will be triggered when the No. 3 fingerprint is used to unlock the door. Add actions. Note: Because different unlocking numbers map to different users, you can use the unlocking number to distinguish users and execute events based on who opens the door.
What does a gateway do?
A gateway connects devices that use different protocols in serial mode and enables you to centrally operate these devices in the app. For example, you can connect switches, lamps, and curtains to a gateway for unified control.
Why can't I remotely unlock a Zigbee smart door lock?
"Possible causes include: The hardware does not support remote unlocking, and the embedded wireless module version is too old. The gateway is incompatible with the device. Change to a newer gateway. The gateway firmware version is earlier than 1.1.9. Upgrade the gateway firmware."
How do I distinguish between Wi-Fi and Zigbee smart door locks?
1. Check whether a logo is provided on the product's outer package. 2. If not, confirm the product brand. For a FingerCrystal smart door lock, press 3# and enter the administrator password. The ''0'' key will blink. Press ''#'' to check whether the indicator switches between quick blinking and slow blinking. If yes, it is a Wi-Fi smart door lock. If not, it is a Zigbee smart door lock. For other vendors' smart door locks, remove the module, and check the module type. If the lock uses a ZS5 module, it is a Zigbee smart door lock. If the lock uses an E1S module, it is a Wi-Fi smart door lock.
What can I do if I cannot connect a Zigbee smart door lock to a Zigbee gateway?
